THE CHURCH
The Lord’s Vine is part of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, a world wide Christian Organization established since 1952. Our mission at The Lord’s Vine is that we desire to be an all-inclusive congregation.
We would share the faith of Christ in the ways in which all people from all cultures and nations can relate and effectively be inclusive. The content of the gospel of Christ will not in any way or form change, but the style in which it is shared may be modified from time to time to allow people of all cultures, ages and classes to benefit. The goal and aspiration of each and every member of The Lord’s Vine is “becoming like Jesus” – John 13:15 in every aspect of our lives. We want to reach God for people through worship, prayer and intercession and bring people to God through prayer, the study of the word of God and fellowship.
Our Story
RCCG Lord’s Vine Harlow was established in 2003 under the able leadership of Pastor Ade Oluwayinka and his wife. It is part of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), an international network of churches. We are a friendly, Bible believing and family-oriented community church in the heart of Essex. It is a Church with heart and mission. It has a vision to reach the unreached, touch the hurting and teach members how to release their God-given potentials. It is a Church where leadership potential is identified, nurtured and released.
Demonstrated by living our core values: compassion, growth, courage to act, responsibility, belonging, curiosity. You can see them cultivated in every experience for students, families and staff.
Community is everything. It’s who we are and how things get done. Everyone here is motivated by a deep commitment to making sure each child and family feels welcome and included. When everyone feels like they belong, we are stronger and smarter together. We’re a community driven to make the world a better place—starting in our own backyard.
